Living in the Pacific Northwest one thing we’ve got is wood, lots of wood. The logging industry isn’t what it was 20 years ago but you could have fooled me. There are logging companies and logging trucks everywhere. We even were the site for the Discovery Channel’s “Axe Men” tv reality show.
Camp 18 along Highway 26 to Seaside, OR is a restaurant converted from an old logging camp. It’s historic, authentic & massive. That’s because it’s constructed of entirely locally grown trees, whole trees in their raw state. A single huge tree makes up the central beam on the building’s roof. You have to see it to believe it.

I’ll bet they go through a ton of Pledge.
It’s a fine looking place.
I’ve always wanted to stop at that place. Thanks for showing me the inside. Great photos and lots of wood!!!
Absolutely gorgeous!
