The Harry Irons Trilogy is a set of science fiction novels written by Thomas Stone. I finished the third in the series last night after flying through the first two books. I must admit here they are incredibly addictive. I was sorry to realize I was finished until I checked with Mr. Stone’s web site at http://www.thomascstone.com. It seems he wrote a sequel to the trilogy titled “Among The Stars”. I’m sure that I will will dive into that novel next.
The basis for the trilogy is mankind’s first attempt at deep space exploration. Earth’s scientists discovered a wormhole and built ships sent through this portal to unexplored areas of our galaxy and beyond. We had never come across any sentient beings before Harry Irons and his fellow crewmen ventured out through the wormhole. They discovered we are not alone and not the most advanced race in the universe.
Characters from the first novel were carried forward to the subsequent novels in the trilogy as Harry, over a 25 year period, discovered his true destiny. The books are short novels that can be read in a day or two as I discovered with my third edition. As a sci-fi buff I can report that the works by Thomas Stone are well written as cast of characters is developed. I had few questions about the technologies in their future as we have all seen & heard of worm holes, faster than light drives and warp drives. I hope you decide to check out these books and enjoy them thoroughly. I purchased all three at Amazon.com for my Kindle for a total of $7.97.

Great review, Bob. I shared this on my Facebook page for my friends who are Sci-Fi lovers.
