We’re back, still digging through my archives looking for unique photos to post in Bob’s Challenge: Frameable Keepers. After posting a tribute to the passing of Lucifer, our zoo’s only red Lorikeet, I thought I do something similar with this post. You see, this fishnet factory used to have 3 stories. It was being used by a number of small businesses when a terrible storm with 100 mph sustained winds blew off that upper story.
That was a significant storm, considering that building had withstood Mother Nature’s wrath for over 100 years. The day I took this photo I luckily was able to talk with the owner who had no intention of trying too repair this damage. It was a total write off. So, in a sense, this is a tribute to an historical landmark in Astoria, OR, the death of a fine business.

Picture perfect Bob! Going to look for my framable keeper right now!
Thanks for playing along.
Looks absolutely great! I remember you featuring the photo in an earlier post.
You are correct. In that post I red-edited the original photograph, greatly enhancing the results.

Nice picture Bob. I love how you are preserving a little bit of history, I try to do that too somewhat.
