chuffed. To be very pleased, proud or happy with yourself – The only reason I’m familiar with this British term is because of my experience on British photographic forums. It gets used a lot there. 
The word seemed appropriate when titling this post.
I love that word. One of my British blogger friends uses it all the time. Perfect picture to illustrate it….
Trust me, the first time one of my British friends used it on a forum I had to ask them for the meaning. The word itself tickles me so it’s easy to remember & use when I can.
ruffled is a good one too so could hybridise into chuffled
