The ladies were out in all their splendor yesterday as a good crowd arrived to view them. They sat atop their heated boulder and kept an eye open for “Zebra Boy”, a title bestowed on an 18 month old infant dressed in an outfit with large black & white stripes.

I saw that little “zebra” on the news back when it happened. Yikes!
I stand on that exact spot to take lion photos all the time. I did a post on the video and included a link. The zoo wasn’t happy with the media story because the lions are all born in captivity and have never seen a zebra. The mom who shot the video said the term “Zebra Boy” was invented by the press, she had no intention of making her son look like a zebra.
I can just imagine the lioness thinking, ‘Damned glass!’ lol
