Back in medieval times if you wanted something moved you had no choice but to pick it up yourself and tote it where it needed to go. There were no forklifts, tractors or machinery to aid you in your chore. So it was at the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire held August 08. When the jousting tournament was about to begin the knights themselves had to trudge out to the field, grab the implements built to hold the targets, and carry them into position. It was a real life reenactment of what happened hundreds of years ago on the field of combat.
