Exploring The West Hill Dam

This morning’s photo safari took me down a country road to West Hill Dam. I had no idea what I would find but I needed a hike and it was a cool crisp Autumn morning in October. There might be a tree of two needing photographing. I wasn’t disappointed.

Once on top of the dam itself the vista opened up to reveal a wide angle shot of the hillside exploding with color. Back along the road leading to the dam were picnic areas framed in brilliant trees. Even the sign depicting the dam’s name also had colorful trees surrounding it. It was worth the drive and walk to capture all this on my cameras.
