I’ve finished downloaded the Topaz Textures Software only to discover I must run it as a stand alone software package. It seems Photoshop CC 2015 has some bugs in it that won’t allow these plug-ins to be opened inside of Photoshop. It’s a minor inconvenience but it gets annoying to run into incompatibilities between software package updates. Makes you wonder if it was deliberate by the Adobe engineers? Either way I simply pull a candidate photo into the Topax Textures software and use its magic.
I have already learned, in 10 minutes, how to use the software basics. It’s very intuitive and easy to master. There are, indeed, software adjustment sliders that affect the selection defaults. I was able to tone down the saturation increase from the original to the final image. You can dial it in exactly the way you want it. WYSIWYG.
