I Miss My Friends

As I was driving around Worcester for my VA appointment yesterday I stopped in a local McDonald’s for breakfast. My morning stop at the VA Clinic just down the street had me doing a fast for blood tests so I was naturally hungry after doing so. I had plenty of time before my 2:00 p.m. 2nd appointment.

I was reminded instantly of my senior friends back in Portland that mean so much to me. We spent many a morning in our favorite booth solving the world’s problems. I solved the ISIS crisis instantly. Just nuke them all and let God sort them out.

I have never been politically correct so that got voted down quickly. Still, look at the lives it would save in the meantime! No boots on the ground and no killed, wounded and crippled soldiers.

So below is a photo of my favorite McDonald’s built from the ground up just for our senior group. The young ladies in the photos are Dianne, Pat and Phyllis.
