Make A Joyful Noise….

Psalm 98

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth;
    break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre,
    with the lyre and the sound of melody!
With trumpets and the sound of the horn
    make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!

There are many instruments mentioned in the bible that can be used to make a “joyful noise”, including the human voice. During church services at Pleasant Street Church in Whitinsville, many such instruments can be heard on any given service. I have been attending for over a month. The pastor, Eric, leads the congregation with an acoustic guitar. There’s a piano, bass guitar and this Sunday a cello.

    • I complimented the cellist and he was very flattered, even though he had never heard of Adam Hurst from Portland, OR. I guess 3200 miles is like living on another planet.

    • I’ve setup a dropbox account with all the photos I’ve taken at Pleasant Street. I’ve talked to pastor Derek about it and will give him the link to it next Sunday. That way anyone can get the photos and use them.
