Dirty Glass Still Yields Quality Photo

I’ve learned so much about shooting pictures through dirty, scratched glass or PlexiGlas that you can’t even tell there was glass there. I had lots of practice getting my technique down pat at the Oregon Zoo. Now at Southwick Zoo in Mendon, MA. I’ve immediately overcome the worst case scenario yet. The photo below is tack sharp with good contrast and plenty of detail. I just uploaded it to my National Geographic website. Will see how it holds up to tough critiques.
